This MX5 Grill is for the 1989-1998 Mk1 model (for models with pop-up head lights).

MX5 Owner - Is your Radiator at risk from flying stones and debris? If your car has not had a grill fitted since it was new, then it is at risk, because when it came, brand new, out of the factory it didn't have a grille in the radiator-mouth, so there was nothing to stop a stone, thrown up from the car in front, flying straight through it and into the radiator. So if it still without a grille, it would be wise to fit one. But beware of the 'One size fits all' grill, because the MX5 Mk1, Mk2 & Mk2.5 models all have different shaped 'radiator-mouths'. Some traders claim that one size will fit all 3, but that's not true, at least, not without a great deal of trouble.
